**Live-In Nanny, Washington DC, circa $120,000 gpa depending on experience**

Our returning client is relocating from London to Washington DC and are looking to hire a daily nanny to care for their 3 young children (3.5, 2 & newborn).

The nanny will focus on the care of the 2 older children with a maternity nanny assisting with the youngest for an initial 6 month period.
With the older child at a local nursery Mondays to Fridays, a nanny who is familiar with the area, in the know with playgroups and local activities would be the ideal fit.

The key to this role will be strong team work to ensure consistency of care and communication within the team, working closely with mum, keeping sight of developmental milestones and fostering a safe, supportive environment where they can thrive.
Ensuite accommodation is provided within the main house.
There will be occasional travel within the US and to Europe.
The family have a small dog who is very much adored by the children. 

Duties & responsibilities

  • Live in - liaising closely with the other side of the rota and parents to ensure seamless handover

  • Sole and shared charge

  • Nursery duties and food planner

  • Work in a team of household staff

  • Domestic and international travel

Requirements:

  • Eligible to work in the USA

  • Checkable references and background check a MUST

  • Ideally bilingual, Spanish and/or Italian and/or French a huge plus

  • Driver and competent swimmer

  • Experienced, collaborative , nurturing and full of energy

  • Able to work in sole/shared charge and within a team

  • Discreet, loyal and committed 

Start Date: Early 2025
Accommodation:  in house, separate entrance, own living space
Salary: circa $120,000 gpa depending on experience
