Full time Butler, Central London, up to £58k gpa depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced butler for a fully staffed household in Central London.
You will be responsible for all typical butler duties, working in a team to ensure prompt service and follow up on client requests.

Strong communication skills are essential as you will be the point of contact between the family and the kitchen team, discussing menu options with the Principals and relaying back to the chefs.

The role is 5 days a week with weekend shifts shared among the team and you may sometimes be asked to stay overnight on some of your shifts depending on the family’s requirements.

They travel quite extensively so you can expect busier periods and much quieter ones, in line with their movements. You will not be expected to travel as part of this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Formal table service and service of drinks

• Attending to family and guest requests

• Control all stock in the Butler section

• Liaise with HM for purchasing requirements

• Create cleaning schedules for the Butler kitchen section 

• Create inventories of all serving and daily crockery and cutlery

• Create table seating plans and manage logistics for events and when entertaining

• Ensure special dietary requirements are communicated to the kitchen when planning events

Requirements:

• 5 yrs experience

• Excellent English language skills

• IT competent

• Silver service experience

• Warm, friendly team player

Salary: £52-58K gpa depending on experience
