**Travelling Governess – Dubai & Worldwide**
Dubai (Base) with Extensive Global Travel
Salary: £8.3k net per month
Accommodation: Private room provided during travel; your own apartment provided in Dubai
Hours: Mon-Fri (2-7PM) Full days when travelling
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, professional, and energetic Governess to join a dynamic british family with a bright and active 4-year-old daughter. Based in Dubai, the family travels extensively to luxurious locations, including homes in Courchevel, Oxfordshire, Florida, and Latvia. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for education, travel, and working within a well-supported team of staff.
Responsibilities
• Provide age-appropriate educational support, including liaising with the school and tutors to ensure her learning goals are met.
• Plan creative, engaging, and culturally enriching activities to enhance her learning and development.
• Oversee educational schedules during travels, ensuring a balance between academics, sport and cultural experiences.
• Assist with light nanny duties, particularly while traveling, and provide support during transitions between locations.
• Encourage and participate in their active lifestyle, including sports like tennis and skiing.
• Foster good manners, confidence, and independence through positive interactions.
Key Requirements
• Strong educational background, with teaching qualifications or similar experience in a governess role.
• Well-versed in liaising with schools and implementing educational plans.
• Culturally aware, adaptable, and experienced in traveling with families.
• Excellent English, with a clear, neutral accent; additional languages are a bonus.
• A sporty, energetic, and creative personality, with the ability to engage in tennis and other physical activities.
• Highly organised, discreet, and professional, with a warm and approachable demeanour.
• Willingness to travel extensively and adapt to varying schedules.
Additional Information
• The family resides on The Palm, Dubai, with other staff, including a chef, driver, and housekeepers
• The Governess will have private accommodation while traveling, and separate housing arrangements will be provided in Dubai.
• The role requires a passion for travel, as the schedule involves frequent international trips to luxurious locations.
