Head Housekeeper, St John’s Wood - £65k - £75k GPA plus benefits

5 days a week, 9 hours a day 

An exciting opportunity to join a stunning private residence as Head Housekeeper. In this position which offers career longevity,  you’ll lead a wonderful housekeeping team and maintain a luxurious, state-of-the-art home for a caring and friendly principal. The property features advanced smart home technology, so being tech-savvy is a must. The client will ask for your help with their iPad to turn on the music in the house, or ask you how to switch on the remote for the Tv. 

This role is hands on housekeeping, working closely with the House Manager to ensure everything runs smoothly, with the added joy of two beloved dogs in the household. No travel required.

Duties and responsibilities:
•    Lead and manage the housekeeping team, ensuring top standards daily
•    Hands-on housekeeping, keeping the home immaculate
•    Care for delicate materials and fine furnishings
•    Laundry & wardrobe management, including fine fabrics and ironing
•    Maintain a smooth, organised household for the family
•    Support the House Manager with daily tasks
•    Report maintenance issues and liaise with contractors
•    Manage household supplies, (soap, diffusers etc), ensuring everything is stocked
•    Provide light service when needed

Who we're Looking For:
•    UHNW household or luxury hospitality/yachting experience
•    Confident leader with strong team management skills
•    Highly organised with great attention to detail
•    Excellent product knowledge and laundry expertise
•    Hands-on, proactive, and happy to assist where needed
•    Strong communicator and team player

Days/Hours: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, 9 hours a day 
Shift: either 7am – 4pm or 10am – 7pm
Salary: £65k - £75k GPA
Start: ASAP (open to candidates with up to a 1-month notice period)
