Head Gardener, Caribbean - £70-£85K gpa plus accommodation

Exciting opportunity for an experienced, passionate gardener to look after circa 40 acres of varied landscape including lawns, orchards, kitchen garden, botanical garden, etc. 

You will be in charge of managing day-to-day operations, overseeing the continued development of the garden with lots of direct communication with the Principal for whom this project, is extremely important. There are currently 5 gardeners in the team with a view to increasing the team to 10 members over time so you will ideally have experience managing and motivating a team.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of tropical climates and previous experience working in the Caribbean or very similar climate would be highly desirable. 

Strong communication skills are equally important, as the position requires close collaboration with the principal.

This is a role for a skilled gardener who thrives in a dynamic environment and is ready to bring their passion and expertise to one of the Caribbean’s most stunning properties. 

We are seeking candidates with prior experience working on a private estate, luxury hotel or villa with extensive grounds. 

Accommodation: staff accommodation 5-minute walk from property. Staff pool and close access to the beach.

Salary: £70-£85K gpa

Days: Monday-Friday
Hours: 8-9 hours per day
